King's College Library

Many forms and other documents on the Web are in PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the files. For security reasons these files cannot be opened directly on the computers at King's. To view PDF files, do the following:

• Click on the link that would normally open the file.
• In the gray box that asks "Do you want to save this file?" click Save.
• In the next box, click on the arrow in the white box beside "Save in.
• From the dropdown list, select your U: drive.
• Click Save.
• From the desktop, double click on Adobe Reader. You may need to minimize windows so you can get to the desktop.
• After opening Adobe, click on File-- Open.
• Click on the arrow in the white box beside "Look in."
• From the drop down list, select your U: drive.
• Find the PDF file and click Open.
