RECYCLING IS REWARDING

In January King's College began a program of recycling paper with the Maslo Company. Blue collection baskets like the one pictured above are in all the computer labs, the library, and office areas. ALL printer paper, notebook paper, and any other paper that is not soiled should be placed in these baskets rather than in the trash can.

The students in Travel and Tourism have taken the responsibility to empty the blue containers on a regular basis. When the large green bins get full, we call the Maslo Company to come pick them up.

Here are two shots of the pickup crew for March 23rd. Pictured are Jackie Lyles, Trisha Fincher, and Josh Hill. In return for their efforts, the Travel Club will receive any rebates we get for the paper that is picked up. Plus, they have the reward of knowing that they are helping to keep our planet livable.
